Segway of the Hudson Valley is the premier Segway dealer in New York and a quality provider of Segway PT tours, corporate events and training.

We pride ourselves on providing safe, entertaining tours of the Hudson’s Water Front and Poughkeepsie on our state-of-the-art fleet of Segway Personal Transporters. All of our guides are certified and well versed in all aspects of the cultural and historical qualities of New York’s Hudson Valley.

This one-of-a-kind adventure includes a 30-minute orientation and professional training session from our experienced staff before the tour begins. The tour doesn’t start until everyone is well acquainted and comfortable with the operation of the Segway PT. As our pre-tour orientation begins right on time, please be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour.

Hudson River and Historic Poughkeepsie Tour

Gliding along on a Segway Personal Transporter allows you to explore the Hudson’s beautiful “Queen City" and capture unbelievable photographs of the Hudson River and Historic Poughkeepsie

Riding your very own Segway PT will forever change the way you see and remember The Hudson Valley as it is more intimate than a bus or driving tour and allows you to cover much more ground than any walking tour. Operation is extremely intuitive as no special skills are need other than being able to walk without assistance and stand for two hours.

Hudson River and Historic Poughkeepsie Tour is $65.00 per person.

Parameters:
Minumum Age 14 Years (All clients may be asked to present proof of age.)
14-17 Years: Parent Must Sign Waiver & Participate in Tour
18 & over: No Parental Permission Required

Refund/Rescheduling Policy:
Non-refundable, cannot be rescheduled. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded and cannot be rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed at the event.

Weather Policy:
Activity takes place rain or shine. The activity runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability).

Other Policies:

Participants must sign a waiver at the start of the tour.
Please wear comfortable and secure footwear such as sneakers, hiking shoes, etc. Flip flops, crocks or slip on shoes that do not have a heal strap to secure your feet are strongly discouraged. Sandals with a strap to secure you heal are ok (such as Teva’s).
Participants under 18 must have a parent or supervising adult present to sign for them.
Helmets are also required and are provided by Segway of the Hudson Valley at no additional charge. New helmets are also available for purchase or participants are allowed to bring their own.
Participants must meet age and weight requirements.
All participants must be 14 years or older, and weigh more than 100lbs and less than 260lbs. Participants 14 to 17 years of age must have a parent or supervising adult sign the waiver and take the tour with them.
Unfortunately, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on Segway tours.
