SEGWAY OF THE HUDSON VALLEY provides the Segway® PT’s, custom advertising skins produced to your specifications, and skilled operators to market your company or product. We can also distribute flyers, samples or other materials to promote your company or product.

LOGISTICS

Concept to completion. We generate, produce and apply the graphics. We coordinate delivery of the Segway PT’s and advertising skins. We schedule Brand embasadors. And we work with venue officials to produce a great event. We do it all.

ON-SITE MANAGEMENT

Our on-site managers ensure that your event goes as planned. They handle all aspects of the event from set-up to shut-down: samples, operators, Segway® machines and maintenance. They work closely with the venue to gain maximum exposure. And should the unexpected arise they can quickly creatively and calmly solve problems before they impact you or your audience.

SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

We’re always prepared. We provide spare tires, control shafts, batteries, skins, machines, air compressor and all the tools necessary to ensure top operating condition of all Segway® PT’s.

PERSONNEL

We provide experienced brand embasadors with the image the client needs.

INSURED

We are completely insured and can issue certificates of insurance if the venue or client requires.

BOOKING AN EVENT

EVENT PRICING

Just provide the location, number of days, dates of your event, the number of Segway® PT’s desired, venues, sampling/data collection requirements and contact information. We’ll generate a quote which includes all costs to put on the event.

CONTRACT

Once the quote is accepted, we’ll forward a contract detailing all event specifications. This will need to be signed and faxed to our office. DEPOSIT – A 50% deposit is required to book the event. A copy of the purchase order and deposit check will need to be faxed to our office when the deposit is mailed.

GRAPHICS SUBMISSION

Our graphics department will render a proof for client approval, based on the artwork you provide. Preferred artwork should be in vector format. General requirements for artwork are: CMYK, 300 dpi, 48” x 60”. Artwork which requires additional drawing or render- ing may incur additional charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long can you operate?

Our operations generally last between 4 and 6 hours. Longer operations are possible, requiring additional Segway® machines and fees. Consult your SEGWAY OF THE HUDSON VALLEY representative.

What about uniforms/apparel?

Special uniforms, costumes and apparel are provided by the client. Unless specified differently, our operators normally wear khaki pants or shorts with a collard shirt or client-suppled shirts and hats.

Who handles permits?

Permits are usually applied for and paid for by the client or agency. We will be happy to assist if there are questions about safety, insurance or laws regarding Segway® PT in lieu of permit issuance.

What turnaround time do you need to be able to work an event?

The more time we have to prepare, the better our ability to assist with every detail. We generally request 10-15 business days to finalize and produce graphics, with at least an additional 5 days to get equipment and personnel in place. For busier times of the year, we suggest that you book the event early to guarantee availability of operators, Segway® PT’s and skins.
